I have alot testimonies to give,but I thought that I would begin with the Lord's calling.

I gave my life and heart to our Lord Jesus Christ in Feb. of 2002, and here my testamony.

I was unemployed and my girlfriend was pregnant with our first son. we were having problems making ends meet. Everything just seemed so hard at the time.

I, for some reason, started watching a lot of Christian programming on TV. My Girlfriend and future wife did not understand or like it much, but I had such a hunger for it. So for 2 solid weeks both day and night, I watched and listened.

One morning I came down stairs and as I rounded the bannister, I had a back flash from 14 years earlier. My buddies and I were sitting on some steps in the apartments that I lived in at the time just talking and laughing. And this young black gentleman came walking by carring his bible. He passed us by, then stopped and turned around and asked, "Do you Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?"

If you would have known me at that time you would have known how sarcastic I could be, so I responded, "You know, I know who Jesus is and what he did, but we have an understanding. I am going to live my life the way I want to until he says, "It's time."".

Upon this recall finished flashing through my mind, I heard a little voice inside me say, "It's Time!"

I looked at my girlfriend and told her that I had to find a church to start going to. We decided to start attending Second Baptist in Houston, TX. 3 weeks later I was baptized, and from that day until now I have experienced and enjoyed some of the most exciting life changes, and the miracles of God.

I will be writing a new thread every couple of days sharing what God has done in my life. I hope that you will check back every so often to read them. I also pray that through these testimonies that they will help strengthen your faith in God's mercies, power, and blessing that His Word expresses and promises to each and everyone of us that he calls His children.
